Apple's iPhone 7 is expected to be with bigger screen while size remains the same; the company is preparing to reveal the wildest leading design of its phone since it was introduced in the 10th anniversary of iPhone during 2017.
Recent rumors claiming that the new iPhone screen would be with curved edges that occupy the whole size of the phone leading to an increase in the screen size, according to British newspaper The Daily Mail.
Research analysts in "Barclays", Belin Curtis, Christopher Hemejeran, Thomas O'Malley and Jerry Jang has said "The bigger screen will not change the phone size as a whole and will continue to be 4.7 inches by 5.5 inches."
The analysts said according to some sources within Apple supply chains department "It does not seem to be the final the design of iPhone 8, but is just a step to reduce the outer frame in conjunction with enlarge the screen size by curving the edges in the new design. This will lead to increased its screen size to 5 inches instead of 4.7 inches while iPhone Plus 8 increased to 5.8 inches instead of 5.5 inches "
The analysts also indicated the new phone model will use OLED screen technology which is clearer and brighter with more power efficiency than LED technology.
Wireless Charger
This comes days after experts predicted that the iPhone 8 will also come with a wireless charger.
Nikkei deployment site, according to a source from the industry, that Foxconn Technology Group in New Taipei, Taiwan is working on a model for the wireless charger to be put with the release of Apple's next iPhone which is due in the market during 2017.
The Nikkei site source said "The features that Foxconn developers can add to Apple smart phone relies on the possibility of raising the rate of return on investment to a higher level rate."
Thus, it is unclear whether Apple will introduce wireless charger or not, just as Samsung did in their smartphone Galaxy S.
It is worth mentioning that Apple has submitted a patent to the Office of the United States patent and trademark form in September and showed pictures of the charging device which has a concave rounded summit, similar to the wireless charger of Apple's watches.
The patent has been presented for the first time in late 2015, but they only published it last month.
According to "Patently Apple" site, despite the fact that the patent heavily focused on toiletries and polishing roller metal in the device and accessory pieces, it also refers to the "Charging Unit ."
Apple has revealed last week that it is preparing to launch three versions of the iPhone 8 next year, including a new phone with 5-inches screen size.
The new awarded patent last month features the ability of fingerprints scan to work from anywhere on the screen of any devices that runs the iOS operating system, which makes the home button useless. The patent also refers to the use of special lenses behind the screen dedicated to connecting screen to sensors units allowing the device to capture an accurate reading of the fingerprint. The rumors about Apple's to get rid of the home button on iPhone 8 may be the same as it was expected to remove it from iPhone 7 but it did not.
