Intel Corporation the giant personal computer processors maker has revealed on twitter its first drone aircraft called Falcon 8, Specialized for industrial businesses such as large construction sites where engineers usually spend hours of walking through work sites to complete the field inspection.
The drone weighs about 2.7 kilograms and fly faster than most of the amateur drones on the market right now, The new drone speed can reach up to 57 kilometers per hour.
The remote control is water resistant called Intel Cockpit, includes control sticks and a tablet giving the user greater control compared to other drones that are controlled by smartphones.
Intel was previously allied with Ascending Technologies company in order to integrate its own technology Real Sense into drones, then later they tried to acquire the company it improve on the 360-degree cameras that is able to recognize the depth to avoid a collisions.
The camera is currently used in AscTec Falcon 8 commercial drone and also in Typhoon H plane produced by Unique company that is targeting amateur pilots but it can be utilized commercially and professionally.
Commercial drone market is different than the amateur drone market as Chinese company DJI acquires 70% of the amateur drone market while there is no dominant company in the professional drone market as there are several companies working in the commercial drone business such as 3-DR, Unique, DJI and Casperey.
